There are many different styles of embroidering blank apparel. If you want to make a big impact with your custom embroidered apparel, 3D Puff Embroidery is a great way to do it!

This process is different from a standard embroidery.  First of all, the digitized sew file will need to be made specifically for a 3D Puff Embroidery. This file tells the embroidery machines the information it needs to complete the job – size, location, number of stitches, type of stitches, etc. Second, puff embroidering requires 3D Embroidery Foam. This foam is what gives the embroidery the 3D look of popping out of the garment. It comes in many basic colors and in either 2mm or 3mm sizes.

The process is similar to a regular embroidery, however the stitches are done on top of the foam in the areas meant to be 3D or “puffed.” This is a great method of giving your embroidery a little something extra to make it stand out. It is commonly used on hats, however almost any type of garment or blank apparel can be embroidered with 3D Puff!
